The Indian Health & Education Council (IHEC), New Delhi is a national-level organization registered under the IT Act and the CR Act, Government of India. The Council was established with the primary objective of promoting Non-Formal and Long-Term Health Education, Primary Healthcare Education, and skill-based training, with a strong focus on serving society at the grassroots level.
IHEC is committed to expanding Paramedical and Allied Health Education across India, particularly in rural and underserved regions. The Council endeavors to empower Indian youth by providing quality education supported by practical training, enabling them to become self-reliant professionals who contribute to society with dignity, responsibility, and sustainable career opportunities.
As a pioneer health education council, IHEC focuses on developing a comprehensive and effective healthcare education system, giving equal importance to disease prevention, health promotion, and community participation.
